Last night was the most enjoyable night i had in a long time! partly attributed to the somewhat wonderful day i had before that.. watched S11 (a made in SG movie) with David.. it was a rather typical kind of Singaporean movie, quite funny..

anyhow, due to v lousy time planning i spent 2pm to 630pm yesterday alone in town... honestly shopping alone is quite nice basically cos i could go wherever i wanted without consulting anybody.. just that at the end of the 4.5 hours i felt a little weird cos i didn't talk at all in that amount of time (which is kinda strange when u're spending time in town).. got my eyebrows plucked at half price at Browhaus =) and bought a top from Zara.. then met xiaoyan, xinni and joanna for dinner at some unidentified place near River Valley. had a nice time with the girls.. its really been a loooonnnggg time since i last saw them (save for xy) so it was a pleasant kind of evening..

spent the evening doing some school work and watching Grey's Anatomy which i got from a shop that sold season one for $29.90!!! such a steal! i saw the exact same DVD going for $49.90 the day before! lucky didn't buy.. but anyway.. absolutely love the show! and finally i'm able to watch the entire season..

was also able to continue reading The Time-Traveler's Wife also cos i just acquired the book on friday (previously i was stealing ziyi's copy while we were at work last month to read whenever she wasn't reading it).. was able to finish it today.. and oh man i was so captivated by the book! really.. it was amazing how Audrey Niffenegger could weave such a beautiful story that's so touching.. really induced all kinds of emotions when i read it. am actually a little sad that i finished it.. u know how it is when u're reading a good book and u just want to finish the whole story and then it actually finishes and u wish u took ur time.. but no matter i have another book lined up.. hopefully its just as good!

well yea.. essentially my night was so good cos it's been a looonngg time since i found a book and serial that was so up my alley and it just so happened that i could enjoy both at the same time!


ahhhh....

and then its back to "A Stepwise Epigenetic Process Controls Ig Allelic...."

sigh.. don't get me wrong though.. i love what i'm studying.. its the studying part thats makes it a drag.. haha orkayz ta for now guys i'll seeya again!
